Mist Guardian

Mistwood Valley Recommended LV 5+ ★☆☆☆☆ Weakness: Fire

Boss Overview

The first boss of Mistwood Valley, clad in a heavy mist shield. This is the first mechanic-type boss new players encounter. The fight has two phases, with the core loop being break shield → damage.

Phase 1: Mist Shield (100% ~ 50%)

  • Mist Shield: Boss has a mist shield in front — frontal attacks are immune. Flank to the sides or rear to hit the body, or use fire attacks to break the shield 3x faster.
  • Sweeping Slash: Right-hand mist blade sweeps 180° in front, ~1.2s windup. Block or dodge, then flank for damage.
  • Thrusting Lunge: Raises blade then lunges forward with a thrust. Obvious windup (blade glints). Sidestep and counter with 2-3 hits.
  • Mist Burst: Mist gathers at feet then erupts in an AOE, ~5m radius. Back away immediately when mist starts gathering.

Phase 2: Mist Dispersion Enrage (50% ~ 0%)

  • Shield disappears, boss enters enrage. Attack frequency +30%, but front is no longer immune.
  • New: Triple Slash — three-hit combo with 0.8s intervals between hits. Third hit has a delay. Parrying all three triggers a long stagger.
  • Mist Burst frequency doubles and releases twice in succession.

Triple Slash (2nd hit)0.3sFollows 1st immediatelyStagger
Triple Slash (3rd hit)0.5sDelayed — 0.5s pause3s stun (if all 3 parried)

Recommended Strategy

1
Opening: Upon entering the boss room, immediately move right to flank. Boss always opens with Sweeping Slash — sidestep and land 2 hits.
2
Shield Break Cycle: Bring fire weapons or Fire Jars (5 recommended). Throwing Fire Jars at the front breaks the shield 30% faster. Unleash full damage on the body after shield breaks. Shield recovers in ~15 seconds.
3
Parry Window: The Thrusting Lunge windup (the moment the blade glints) is the best parry timing — 0.3s window. A successful parry triggers a 2-second stagger for a full combo.
4
Phase Transition: At 50% HP, boss releases a full-screen Mist Burst. Backstep 6m to avoid it. Shield disappears — you can now attack from the front.
5
P2 Damage: Triple Slash is the core parry opportunity — parry the 1st hit (1.0s timing), 2nd hit (0.8s), and 3rd hit (0.5s delay on 3rd). Perfect parry all 3 = 3s stun window. Unleash everything.
6
Finish: Maintain your rhythm. Approach immediately after each Mist Burst. No special enrage at 10% HP — steady finish.
💡 Key Tip

New players die most often to the P2 Triple Slash — remember the third hit has a delay. Don't release the block button too early. Parrying all three hits perfectly is the most satisfying moment in this fight.

Witherwood Behemoth

Mistwood Valley Recommended LV 8+ ★★☆☆☆ Weakness: Slash/Fire

Boss Overview

A massive tree giant with wide attack range but slow movements. The core loop is flank legs → knockdown → damage core.

Phase 1 (100% ~ 60%)

  • Boulder Throw: Pulls a boulder from the ground and throws it in a parabolic arc. Sidestep to dodge.
  • Sweep Combo: Alternating dual-arm sweeps, 2 hits. Extremely wide range but long windup. Dodge and flank to the rear.
  • Stomp: Raises foot and stomps when players are close. AOE ~3m. Jump or back away.

Phase 2 (60% ~ 0%)

  • Leg armor shatters — legs now take heavy hits. Accumulate enough leg damage to trigger knockdown. Boss stays down 8 seconds — unleash full damage on the chest core.
  • New: Root Entanglement — tracking roots erupt from the ground. If caught, immobilized for 3 seconds. Must keep moving.
  • Tremor Roar: Boss leans back and roars, triggering a full-screen quake. Must jump to avoid (similar to Stomp but map-wide).

Recommended Strategy

1
Maintain Mid-Distance: Stand at mid-range to bait Boulder Throw (the easiest skill to dodge). Sidestep and approach.
2
Flank and Hit Legs: After the sweep combo, circle to the rear and focus damage on a single leg. Slash damage deals 1.5x to legs.
3
Knockdown Burst: When leg damage threshold is met, boss falls. Rush to the chest position and unleash everything on the core (core takes 2x damage).
4
P2 Roots: Keep moving — never stand still. When roots appear, immediately change direction. Huntbow can use traps to block root paths.
5
Tremor Jump: When boss leans back to charge, prepare to jump. Leap at the moment of impact to avoid the quake.
💡 Key Tip

The chest core during knockdown is the only 2x damage weak point. Save your ultimate and burst skills — unleash them all the moment the boss goes down.

Mistweaver Spider

Mistwood Valley Recommended LV 12+ ★★★☆☆ Weakness: Blunt

Boss Overview

A giant spider lurking deep in the mist forest, specializing in web control + spiderling summons. The core is priority management: clear web → clear spiderlings → damage boss.

Core Mechanics

  • Web Shot: Fires a web projectile at the player. On hit, reduces speed by 50% for 5 seconds. Web zones persist on the ground.
  • Summon Spiderlings: Every 30 seconds, summons 4-6 spiderlings. Spiderlings deal low damage but self-destruct to stack slow. If not cleared, they overwhelm.
  • Poison Spit: Sprays poison in a straight line. Inflicts poison DoT — 2% max HP per second.
  • Ambush from Ceiling: Boss briefly stealths and drops from above. Watch the ground shadow to dodge in advance.
  • Weakness: Abdomen (exposed when hanging from web) and eyes. Blunt weapons deal bonus damage to the shell.

Recommended Strategy

1
Priority: Clear Spiderlings: Kill spiderlings the moment they appear. Bring AoE weapons (Curse Mage fireball or Huntbow scatter shot). Don't touch the boss until adds are cleared.
2
Web Route: When web zones spread, walk the outer perimeter in circles to minimize crossing through them.
3
Ambush Prediction: When boss disappears, immediately look for the ground shadow — the shadow marks the landing spot. Sidestep 1 second before impact.
4
Abdomen Burst: When boss falls from the web or ambush fails, the abdomen is exposed for ~3 seconds. Close in and unleash everything on the abdomen weak point.
5
Poison Management: Use antidote immediately when hit by poison. At 2+ stacks, you must clear it right away or the sustained damage will spiral out of control.
⚠️ Warning

Spiderling self-destruct is the biggest wipe cause — multiple spiderlings self-destructing simultaneously stacks slow and makes poison undodgeable. When you see a spiderling swell and glow, back off and kill it immediately.

Abyss Gazer

Mistwood Valley (Final) Recommended LV 15+ ★★★★☆ Weakness: Light

Boss Overview

The final boss of Mistwood Valley — a giant floating eyeball at the center of the deep valley. The core challenge is Mind Control + clone identification.

Three-Phase Fight

  • P1 (100%~66%): Tracking Beam (continuously tracks player), Shadow Tentacles (erupt from ground), Void Orb (parabolic throw).
  • P2 (66%~33%): Mind Control — when a dark purple filter appears at the screen edges, you must use a Clarity Talisman OR attack the boss's eye with a Light attack within 3 seconds to interrupt. Failure reverses your controls for 5 seconds.
  • P3 (33%~0%): Summons 2 shadow clones that cast low-damage versions of skills. The real boss has a GOLDEN pupil; clones have PURPLE pupils. Attacking clones deals no effective damage.
☠️ High-Risk Mechanic

Mind Control (P2) — if not interrupted within 3 seconds, your controls are reversed for 5 seconds: movement directions flip, attacks become backsteps. Getting controlled in front of the boss means certain death. Always bring Clarity Talismans or maintain interrupt rhythm.

Recommended Strategy

1
P1 Sustained DPS: Circle strafe during the tracking beam. Reposition when shadow tentacles appear. Maintain mid-distance for safe damage.
2
P2 Mind Control: The instant the dark purple filter appears, immediately attack the eye with a Light skill/weapon to interrupt. Or pre-use Clarity Talisman to immunize this round.
3
P3 Identify Real/Fake: When clones appear, immediately check pupil color — golden is the real boss. Focus all fire on the real boss, ignore clones.
4
Clone Refresh: The real boss re-stealths and refreshes clone positions every 20 seconds. You must re-identify each time.
5
Light Advantage: Light attacks deal 2x damage to this boss. Curse Mage Light Orb, Huntbow Light Bolt, or Shadowblade Light enchant all work.

Recommended Builds

  • Weapon: Light staff +4
  • Skills: Light Orb (interrupt + burst) + Shadow Barrier
  • Items: Clarity Talisman ×3, status cure potions ×3

Ironclad Ghoul General

Ancient BattlefieldRecommended LV 18+ ★★★☆☆Weakness: Lightning

Core Mechanics

A massive ghoul general clad in full iron armor. Lightning breaks armor 3x more efficiently — once armor is shattered, the body takes 1.5x damage. Boss skills include Greatsword Sweep, Fear Roar (must turn away!), and summoning ghoul soldiers (2 per cast).

Strategy

  • Bring lightning weapons or Lightning Bottles — prioritize breaking armor on the head and chest.
  • During Fear Roar, turn your back to the boss (similar to Bloodborne's frenzy mechanic), otherwise you are Feared for 3 seconds.
  • When ghoul soldiers are summoned, use AoE skills to clear them quickly — don't fight the boss and adds simultaneously.
  • After armor breaks, unleash on the body. Watch for the Greatsword Sweep (1.5s windup, 270° range) — dodge to the side and get behind.

Drops

  • Ironclad Core (100%): Unlock lightning weapon enhancements
  • Ghoul General Plate (30%): Craft heavy armor with lightning resistance
  • Lightning Crystal ×3 (100%): Advanced equipment enhancement
💡 Recommended Classes

Curse Mage (Lightning Orb breaks armor + AoE clears adds), Iron Guard (block Greatsword + lightning-enchanted Shield Bash).

06

Wraith Legion Commander

Ancient BattlefieldRecommended LV 22+ ★★★★☆Weakness: Holy

Core Mechanics

A wraith general leading an undead legion. The fight is wave-based: Wave 1 summons 6 undead soldiers + archers, Wave 2 summons 4 undead knights, Wave 3 the boss personally engages with 2 elite guards. 10-second breather between waves.

Strategy

  • Holy damage deals 2x to undead — bring holy enchantments or Physician's Holy Light.
  • Priority: clear archers (ranged harassment) → clear knights (charge knockdown) → boss last.
  • When boss engages, he uses "Wall of the Dead" — summons a row of undead walls pushing forward. Flank around or use AoE blasts to break a hole.
  • Illusionist clones are extremely strong here — clones draw add aggro while you focus the boss.

Drops

  • Wraith Core (100%): Unlock holy weapon enhancements
  • Legion Banner (25%): Summon an undead ally once per run
  • Holy Crystal ×5 (100%): Advanced equipment enhancement
💡 Recommended Classes

Physician (Holy Light + healing + buffs), Illusionist (clone aggro + mass crowd control).

07

Skyburn Bone Dragon

Ancient BattlefieldRecommended LV 25+ ★★★★☆Weakness: Ice

Core Mechanics

A bone dragon circling above the ancient battlefield, alternating between ground and air phases. Ice freezes its joints, causing it to crash. During air phase, the full-screen fire breath requires hiding behind cover (4 stone pillars in the arena). After a crash, the abdomen weak point is exposed for 8 seconds.

Strategy

  • Ground Phase: Circle to the tail and attack it — the tail has no attack hitbox and can be severed (severing the tail removes the tail sweep skill).
  • Air Phase: Immediately run behind the nearest stone pillar. Fire breath tracks around the pillar but the pillar blocks the damage. Each pillar is destroyed after one use.
  • Ice attacks fill the joint freeze gauge. When full, the boss crashes for 8 seconds — unleash everything on the abdomen.
  • P2 (below 50%): Air time doubles, adds a second breath. Pillars get destroyed — must rotate between remaining pillars.

Drops

  • Bone Dragon Core (100%): Unlock +10 weapon enhancement
  • Dragon Bone Fragments (50%): Craft dragon-series weapons
  • Skyburn Cloak (15%): Fire resistance +40%
💡 Recommended Classes

Huntbow (Ice Bolt + tail precision), Curse Mage (Ice Spike to freeze joints + AoE clear).

08

Mist Overlord (Hidden Boss)

Hidden BossRecommended LV 30+ ★★★★★Weakness: Multi-phase

Unlock Condition

Find 3 Mist Shards in Mistwood Valley and 3 in Ancient Battlefield Ruins (6 total). Bring them to the camp altar to craft the Mist Key, which grants access to the hidden map "Mistheart Abyss".

Core Mechanics: Three-Phase Full Mechanic Fusion

  • P1 (100%~66%): Fuses Mist Guardian's shield + Witherwood Behemoth's area quake. Shield element rotates every 15 seconds (Fire → Lightning → Ice → Light → Dark) — must use the counter element to break it.
  • P2 (66%~33%): Fuses Spider's summons + Gazer's Mind Control simultaneously. You must handle spiderlings AND interrupt Mind Control at the same time — extreme multitasking demand.
  • P3 (33%~0%): Fuses Bone Dragon's air breath + Legion Commander's Wall of the Dead. Must use cover for breath while breaking through walls. Boss weak point only exposed for 2 seconds after specific skills.
☠️ Ultimate Challenge

Mist Overlord is the hardest content in the game. Recommended: 4-player co-op, all members LV 30+ with +5 or higher gear. Bring multi-element weapons for switching, and prepare ample potions. Expect 15-25 attempts to clear.

Drops

  • Mistheart Core (100%): Craft the ultimate weapon "Mist Shadow" — all-element switching, built-in parry enhancement.
  • Mist Overlord Set Blueprint (50%): All elemental resistance +30%, ultimate armor set.
  • Title "Mistbreaker": Unlocked upon completion.
